Half Experience if not at the Session
Character advancement should be the result of actively working to solve combat and non combat encounters in game. We feel rewarded when the results of our investment end up with our characters leveling up and getting stronger and more developed as a result.
In order to support this, players who are not at the session will only recieve 1/2 of the group XP. They will also not be able to benefit from any bonus XP granted such as for exceptional role playing, descriptive combat, or other outstanding game contributions.
Real life comes up for all of us… we are all adults and we get that. however we should not negate a players effort of showing up for the sessions by allowing other players who are not showing up to advance at the same rate.
1/2 XP for non present players.
