The Fae wilds in this world will be having direct impact on campaign story. I’ve got a setup for the Fae wilds that needs to tie in. I don’t want to give away any spoilers here so I’ll keep the edit super sussinct.

The Feywild, also known as the plane of Faerie, exists as an “echo” of the Prime Material Plane. It is from here that the fey originate, giving the Feywild its name, and it is also a place of unusually potent magic.

As a parallel plane to the Prime, the Feywild’s geography is similar, though not entirely identical, to the geography of the Prime. Similarly, just as the geography is reminiscent of the world’s, so too do its inhabitants and many creatures exist as fey “echoes” of the Prime creatures.

Arcane magic runs more freely and powerfully in the Feywild than it does in the Prime and it is for this reason that so many of its inhabitants are magically gifted. The Feywild is also reputably beautiful compared with either the Shadowfell or the Prime.

Though much of the Feywild is the same as the Prime geologically there are differences, and more importantly, the lands answer to different powers than those on the world. The Fae are ruled by The Seelie Court who is lead by a queen named Titania. Titania is the queen of the fairies. She rules all the greater fae like herself, and the lesser fae, like: centaurs, satyrs, pixies, nymphs and many more. The home of the fairies is called Ladinion. All the greater fae and many of the lesser fae live here.

The Feydark is the echo of the world’s Underdark in the Feywild and, like most parts of the Feywild, it is more majestic and fantastic than its natural counterpart. This land is rule by The Queen of Air and Darkness, sister to Titania.
